7pc Square Hole Mortise Chisel Drill Bit HSS Woodworking Saw Mortising

This seven piece set, square hole cutting drill bits are specifically made for mortising machines; those will not work with a regular hand drill. The bits are designed to cut into soft or hard wood, creating a square hole to be used for a more effective joint in furniture building or woodworking. The bits are made of HSS steel with hardness up to 50HRC. The chisel bits can be used with most mortising machines and mortising drill press attachments. The set includes seven different sizes; 1/4 inches (6.4mm), 5/16 inches (8mm), 3/8 inches (9.5mm),  25/64 inches (10mm), 1/2 inches (12.7mm), 9/16 inches (14mm) and 5/8 inches (16mm).

• Those bits will not work with a standard hand drill, you will require a mortising machine or a drill press with mortising attachment
• To extend service life of the drill bit please allow a cooling period between drilling cycles, excessive heat may dole or may damage the bit with time
